Market pairs are ranked in order of Liquidity, with additional factors shown to provide a more complete picture of trading conditions. The key metrics considered include:
Although Liquidity determines the ranking order, other metrics, such as trading volume and transaction counts, are displayed to offer a broader view of market pair performance.
Price data is collected through widely trusted third-party APIs and analyzed to ensure an accurate, unbiased representation of a crypto asset’s value. Our analyses are based on real-time data gathered via APIs. The data is run through cleaning and verification algorithms to maintain integrity and accuracy.
The trading amount of any crypto asset tracked in the last 24 hours. Trade Volume is calculated by receiving directly from Exchanges APIs over the last 24 hours about that crypto asset, and converting it to USD.
Supply is an essential factor in understanding the scarcity and inflation of a crypto asset.
Circulating supply refers to the number of tokens or coins that are publicly available and tradable in the market. It is calculated by subtracting locked, staked, or burned coins from the total supply.
The number should change over time if the crypto asset has tokens that are locked.
The goal of Circulating Supply is to get a better understanding of the market capitalisation of a crypto asset.
Total supply represents the total number of coins or tokens that have been created, including those locked, staked, or reserved by the project’s team, but excluding those have been burned (burned and removed from the Circulation Pool).
This value may change depending on the tokenomics of the asset (e.g., scheduled emissions or burns).
Max supply refers to the upper limit of tokens that can ever exist for a cryptocurrency, as specified in its code.
For assets with a finite supply, this is the maximum number of tokens that will ever be minted. Some crypto assets may have infinite supply, therefore will not have Max Supply.
Market cap is a widely used metric that reflects the value of a cryptocurrency based on its price and supply.
The market capitalisation of an individual cryptocurrency is calculated by multiplying its current price by the circulating supply. This gives a snapshot of the asset’s total value at any given moment.
How Its Calculated?
Market Capitalization = Circulating supply * Current Price
The aggregate market cap represents the sum of the market caps of all cryptocurrencies combined (can be found on each of the On-Chain Fundamental Explorer/Screener. This metric is often used to gauge the overall size and health of the cryptocurrency market.
