I agree. Weekly heart beats are suboptimal. Once I'm clear I'll gladly share every suggestion I've made including the rationale behind them. In terms of timing, the world is real time, communication should be either real-time or near real time. I'm also not looking for a protracted decision or a slow process, but rather pragmatic fast decision around key points of contention. What's working, what isn't, why isn't it working - what are we doing to do about it.

For the time being I'm balancing between respecting the wishes of the team members and communicating with the wider community. When i joined the project and through the past few weeks it's become clear that significant changes need to be implemented to propagate the project beyond it's current stance.
