About web3 wallets: couldn't there be a way to authenticate websites directly from our wallets? So let's say you connect to a fraudulent website, your wallet would recognize that a signature or a specific code is missing and warn users before they got their funds drained? How difficult would that be to implement?

I doubt you can prevent scams this way. Connecting to fake / scam sites is a human error, a result of lack of critical thinking skills, carelessness, lack of tech skills, or simply being driven by an emotional response or a desire to get free stuff, etc. AI agents will be a solution to this, to some extent, I hope. I think there will be less and less of human transacting being done in DeFi space and most of it will likely be done by agents on behalf of the wallet owners.
