Development has been ongoing, and we’re now in the final stretch of pulling everything together into a single, cohesive playtest build. 🎯 Target Playtest Launch: August 15th We’re aiming to open closed playtesting right here in Discord around August 15th. This will be the most complete version of Space is Hell yet — and everything we’ve been working on throughout the year is finally coming together. Here's what’s packed into this build: 🛠 Core Gameplay Systems 🚀 Full Ship & Component Upgrading – unlock stronger gear as you progress 🔼 Ship Leveling & XP Collection – grind your way to power 📆 Daily Missions with HELLX Rewards – earn in-game currency for your grind ⚔️ PVP & PVE Combat – fight AI or take on real players ⛏️ Mining & Resource Collection – mine valuable resources across systems 🛸 Station Docking & Services – repair, refuel, and upgrade at space stations 🧬 Full Avatar System – personalize your look with Ready Player Me integration 🏁 Choose Your Faction – Iron Coalition or Nova Syndicate 🛳 12 Unique Ships – 6 per faction, each with its own style and role 💬 Social Chat & Interaction – squad up, chat, and coordinate 🌌 Open World Progression Loop – explore, fight, mine, repeat 🎮 Steam Early Access Prep is Underway We’ve started building our Steam page and integrating the game with Steam’s systems.
